Bed Time For Harrison
We moved Harrison up to his own room the week before Christmas. He did so good! He loves his bed and all the room he had to wiggle around in! While he was sick he went back to getting up every 30 minutes or every hour. Before he was sleeping 11 to 12 hours each night. We are back to only getting up two or three times through the night. He does not eat he just wants his pacifier and he goes right back to sleep! He is still such a good baby and we are so thankful to have our little boy! He is such a gift from God!

Christmas Time At The Tomlin's
Family Weekend--Birthday, Popa Visit, Christmas Events, & HKT's Dedication
We had a full weekend! We had Greg's birthday on Saturday--we are both now officially 31! Saturday morning we went to see Harry--Greg's dad--at Stallworth rehab facility at Vanderbilt. He has not seen Harrison yet, due to the germs in hospitals and his infections, so this was the first time for him to lay eyes on him! Harrison talked to Harry and smiled at him and they just hit it off! Tessa was a little scared at first of his wheelchair, not unusual for her right now, but she warmed up later. We went to the gym with him for his rehab and visited a while. It was so nice to see him! He is doing better but he still has a little ways to go before he will be able to walk again. Please keep him in your prayers! That night we had our Sunday School Christmas party at the Sugg's and it was so fun! We went to the Springfield nursing home to talk with and sing to the residents there. Alot of them have no family members to share this time with so it is nice to bring smiles to their faces! Then we went back to Mike & Nona's for dinner and games!
Sunday we had Harrison's dedication at church! It went very well! He did great through it! He is always so good! We had so many family members there and I felt so blessed! That night we had Tessa's Christmas musical. It was adorable seeing all of those kids sing and perform! After the musical Greg and I and the kids went to Olive Garden for a late dinner. I totally ruined my Weight Watchers by eating their bread sticks! It was so good! We had a full weekend but it was so good! I hope you guys had a good one as well!
Harrison's Dedication: Another family, Mitchell & Lindsey Bush, had their little boy, Aiden, dedicated at the same time.

Busy, Busy Weekend
We had alot going on this weekend! On Friday, Mom came over to watch the kids so Greg and I could go on a date! We ate at Panera and saw Four Christmases. It was a really good movie...some slow parts but still good! I recommend seeing it! Then on Saturday we had my little cousin, Curtis' birthday party! All the kids had a blast and Curtis really had a great party! Then we had haircut appointments for me and Tessa. This is Tessa's first haircut and she did amazing! My step-sister Angie cut her hair and saved some for me for her keepsake box. Then Greg took Tessa to our friends house, Brock & Cynthia Brewer for home worship while Harrison stayed with me while I finished my hair. Next, Harrison and I met the girls for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Green Hills! Three of us were celebrating December birthdays. We had so much fun and the food was delicious! Harrison was his sweet calm self, as usual! he is such a good baby! I could take him anywhere with me and not have a care in the world! He is such a blessing to his mommy! This past Wednesday I also had lunch with some of my friends for my birthday! We had fun catching up and seeing all of the kids again! Today we went to church and came home for lunch and naps! We plan to decorate for Christmas tonight! I hope we can get it all done! Here are some pictures from this weekend! I hope all of you had a great weekend too!

Photo Shoot W/The Kids
This morning I took the kids to have their pictures taken. This is a dreaded affair for me because Tessa usually screams her head off and I may get one or two good shots of her. This is after crying spells with a red face, huge tears, and a never ending runny nose. Needless to say we are both spent after an ordeal like that! So last night Greg and I both prayed that Tessa would do well today and that her crying spells would not be as bad as they normally are. I prayed too going there this morning. This may sound silly to some of you but when you are by yourself with two kids and you know what usually happens, panic seems to set in for me. I usually handle it pretty well I think. This morning was anything but what I expected! God answered my prayers exactly and Tessa did awesome! She even wanted to take more pictures but Harrison needed to be fed so we quit with the ones we did get. I think they turned out so good and I wanted to share them with you! We are going to use the one of them together for our Christmas cards. We are gonna use the one of Harrison wrapped in the white cloth for his announcement cards. It will be in black and white. I know I am way behind on that but you do it when you can! Mom bought Harrison the white outfit he is wearing in the last few shots. It is for his dedication and we also used it for his hospital pictures. It has his initials on the top of the outfit and also on his hat! I love it on him and I think he looks so precious! On a side note...while I was feeding Harrison and waiting for our photos to be uploaded I observed another family that was waiting for their pictures to be taken. It was husband and wife with two little girls. They looked miserable when they came in. The oldest girl was frowning the whole time and the baby just stared into space. Which is what most babies do but the parents did not speak to either of their kids or interact with them at all. Basically they just sat there and ignored them. They did not talk to each other unless it was to complain about something or make a rude comment. This whole time I am trying to feed Harrison and talk to Tessa to keep her distracted so she doesn't hear what these people are saying. My thought process was how this couple could not look at those precious little baby girls and not have joy in their hearts? I thought to myself on the way home that even though I was alone today, without my hubby, I am so grateful to have the christian husband God has blessed me with! We have a mutual respect for and love for one another to never treat each other the way this couple did! It made me be even more aware of the example I am setting for others and for my kids! You never know who is watching and who will be affected by you words and actions!

I Am Tagging You!
I saw my friend Melia's blog page this morning and she had been tagged by one of her friends. This idea is too cute and even though I was not tagged I wanted to do it and share it with you guys! Find the fourth picture album on your computer and post the fourth picture in that album on your blog and explain it!

This picture was at Tessa's 2 year photo shoot. She could not decide if she would cry or smile so she is contemplating! I think this is a cute picture of her!
Now it is your turn!

Thanksgiving 2008
This year we went to my Granny & Grandpa Beach's house for lunch. Tessa had so much fun playing the piano and with her cousins. We also went to my mom's house Friday night for dinner. We decorated a Christmas tree and everyone had a blast. Mom lamenated family photos of us all and we hung them with the kids. They loved it! Then we ate mom's delicious food! Heather and her crew couldn't join us because they were all sick and we missed them so much! Please say a prayer for Heather and Isabella for they are still not feeling very well today. We are so thankful for our family and friends and we hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did!
