Pumpkin Patch
Greg and I took Tessa to the pumpkin patch this morning while Harrison stayed at home with GiGi. It was too windy and too cold for me to feel comfortable about taking him. Thanks mom! We took Tessa last year and she cried and screamed the whole time we were there. This year she did great and had so much fun! We went with alot of our friends and had a wonderful time! Here are some pictures from our day! There is one of Tessa and her friend Camden. They are in school together and we also see them at church. They are so cute together!

Fun Family Weekend!
We had a busy weekend full of fun things! I already told you about my first outing with the two kids on Friday and how well it went! Saturday Tessa and I had a girls day out with Heather & Isabella. We went to Heather's school's Pioneerfest and we had so much fun! The girls got to jump in the inflatables, see ponies, play games, and much more! We all had such a good time together! Aunt Heather had to go on all the inflatable slides with Tessa because I could not take her up.

Later that day, Greg and I took the kids on our first family of four outing to Academy Sports. They both did great in the store except for Harrison's huge blow out diaper! We are still getting used to changing a boy's diaper...much different from a girl! We we left the store we went to mom and Arles' for dinner and to let Tessa & Isabella play. We did manage to get a family picture of the four of us at mom's. Tessa did not want to cooperate but we did get a good shot of her smiling really big!

This weekend I convinced Tessa to put on her Minnie Mouse costume and let me take her picture. She does not like to dress up or put on costumes at all. Last year she was a cheerleader because it feels like reular clothes to her and she doesn't try to rip it off! She will not wear anything that is bulky or has something that goes on her head! I was lucky to get these pictures of her. I think she looks so cute as Minnie Mouse but once again...she will be a cheerleader!

On Sunday we went to church for the first time with Harrison. Greg has been taking Tessa by himself while we were at home these past few weeks. Tessa did not cry when I dropped her off (yeah) and Harrison pretty much slept through Sunday School and the worship service! Getting ready that morning was pretty challenging and we were 20 minutes late but we made it! For our first Sunday out I think we did pretty good!
It was so nice to be out doing things again and it was a bonus that greg was there too! We love our weekends with daddy and cannot wait for Friday to get here again!

First Day Out
Today I decided it was time for me to venture out of the house and run a few errands. I haven't been anywhere except to the grocery store and pharmacy for over three weeks and have been going stir crazy at the house all day. I had both of the kids and I was really excited to see how this went! Of course I had to go back inside the house a couple of times before we left but I think I did pretty good! Harrison screamed most of the time in the car while Tessa ignored him and sang and watched the Backyardigans. We got gas, went to the bank, to Babies R Us, and then to mom's house for lunch. Harrison fell asleep in Babies R Us so he slept through the bank and on the way to mom's. Tessa obeyed really well today also...unusual for her in a store with toys! All in all I think our first time out went great! Here is a picture of Harrison when we got home. He fell asleep and looked so sweet!

Harrison's First Bath
We finally got to give Harrison his first bath in the newborn bathtub! He did so good! Tessa hated her first bath and still does not like them now. Harrison on the other hand loved it! At first he made a few noises because he wasn't sure about it and then he just relaxed and sat back for me to bathe him! He just looked at me the whole time and did not even cry when he got out! He is such a good baby! God answered our prayers for a calm and relaxed little boy who sleeps! He has been sleeping five to six hours a night lately and we are in heaven! He doesn't even cry to eat...just grunts really loud until we wake up!
I am also posting a three week picture of him and some of Tessa in her new princess gown jammies. She loves gowns these days and was so excited to sleep in her new princess one last night! Grammy (Greg's mom) visited us last night and also brought us dinner. We have been so blessed with such good families and friends who have kept us fed for over two weeks! We love you guys! Thanks so much!
The last picture is of Harrison with stickers all over his head that Tessa put on him! My mom was supervising so no one was hurt! As mom said, this is just the beginning for him! Poor guy!

Harrison's 2 Week Update
Below are some pictures of Harrison's second week at home. As you can see, Tessa loves him and is getting used to him being around all of the time! I took him to his two week Dr. appointment this past Thursday and he did really well! He is back up to his birth weight, 8.1, and has grown 1 1/2 inches! He did not like the car ride there too much but I am hoping he grows out of that! We are all doing really well! I am recovering from the surgery alot faster this time than I did with Tessa and that is a blessing! Harrison is sleeping o.k. through the nights giving us at least three hour stretches most of the time. I will post more pictures later!
