Date Night

Greg and I had a date night last night while mom kept Tessa for us! There are not that many more weekends for us to be able to just pick up and leave so we thought we would take advantage! We went and ate at The Chop house--it was delicious! I do not have alot of room these days in my tummy so Greg finished my dinner for me! Then we walked around a few shops and saw the movie Tropic Thunder. We do not recommend this movie to anyone! We did not do our research of course and it was not what we thought it would be. We were looking for a comedy that would keep us laughing. This turned out to be one of those stupid comedies with so much horrible language that we almost left. However, we stuck it out to the end. Although we do not have good choices in movies as of late, we did enjoy our night together to talk and just be with each other! Thanks mom for always taking such good care of our baby girl! We love you!

Look how sweet Tessa is smiling! She is really getting into taking her picture these days! This is right before we left.

Updates: Harry & Mom

I want to update everyone on Harry's & Mom's progress. Harry was moved over the weekend to the Select Specialty Rehabilitation Center over by Baptist. The donor liver he received is working properly...Praise! His coloring and overall appearance has improved tremendously! He continues to have dialysis for his kidneys three days a week. They work with him daily to get his muscle strength back so that he can come home soon. He still has a long way to go but he is moving forward and we are so grateful to see him get a little better each day!
Mom is still continuing her therapy for her neck as well. She still has some problems with headaches and other things but we think she is getting the treatment she needs. They will do another scan of her neck in a week or so to see how much progress has been made.
Thank you for your continued prayers for our parents! Keep them coming!

Baby Harrison Update

Today I went in for a check up and another ultra-sound. The ultra-sound showed that Harrison is perfect and the calcium deposits in his heart were no where to be seen! They have dissolved--Praise God! It showed a head full of hair floating around and that he weighs around 5.12 right now! I have been having alot of Braxton Hicks contractions for about a week and a half now so my Dr. checked me to see if I had dilated any. I have not--thank you Lord! I do not want to go early with him. I want to spend as much mommy and Tessa time as I can! I am excited for him to be here but I want to go to our scheduled c-section date! We have officially scheduled the birth for September 26th! He will be 39 weeks then. I went over a week with Tessa so I have opted to have this little guy early to avoid all of the things that go along with being overdue. Greg was at this appointment with me and he was so excited to see Harrison again! Thank you for all of your prayers for our little boy and his health scares we have been through. We know the power of prayer and God has definitely answered ours for our little boy! Love you all!

Baby Shower For Harrison

Last night we had our first shower for Harrison. Mom, Paula, and Heather gave us this shower at mom's house. It was so much fun! Tessa and Isabella had fun playing together and helping with the gifts. It was so exciting to see all of the little boy things we received for Harrison! He is truly a blessed little boy to have so many people who love him already! Thank you so much mom, Paula, and Heather for making this time for us so special! We love you!

First Day of Letting Go

Today was the day I had to let go of my baby girl. I took Tessa to her first day at Parent's Day Out. She did so much better than I thought she would! She got a little upset at first but when I left she was not crying! My friend Joyell checked on her after I left and she had dropped her little girl off and she said Tessa was playing and not crying at all! I am so happy she is o.k.! I have to tell myself to let go and let God take care of my baby but it is still very hard for me to do! Here are some pictures of Tessa this morning before we left for school.

Alyssa's Birthday Party

Today we had my step-sister-in-law's daughter's birthday party. It was a swim party with lots of cake & ice cream, pizza, swimming, and presents! Tessa did not seem to be too happy at first but then she warmed up. We think she has a little bit of social anxiety around alot of people she doesn't see regularly. Here are a few pictures from the party.

Titans Game

Last night Greg and I, along with Heather and Peter, went to the Titans game! We had a date night without "Little Miss" and it was great to catch up with my hubby! Between work, hospital visits, family time, and other responsibilities Greg has been pretty overwhelmed lately. We got to relax and talk and just have fun together. Thanks mom and Arles for the tickets and for babysitting!
